Crepes in Hackney Village

Where’s that then? Chatsworth Road E5. The Creperie du Monde is quaint and welcoming. There’s a whole menu of sweet and savoury crepes. Liked it a lot. Was stunned to see the address as ‘Hackney Village’. Up there with ‘Leyton Industrial Village’ circa 1985 for renaming what were run down and out places. I believe L I V is now Argall Estate.

Did feel pulled towards Cakey Muto though, another fine snacking establishment. You need cash in your pocket, mind, like the olden days.

Nipped into The WaterWorks Nature Reserve on Lea Bridge Road run by the LEE (sic) Valley Parks  for a reasonably-priced cup of coffee. Buzzin’.
