Tues 10th June free The Mill E17 had its June exhibition of local artists’ work called “At home at The Mill”

Wed 11th June free 11-1pm Tate Britain and “Soapbox” for 60 year old seniors. Informal discussions and art awareness with a cuppa. Phone 02078878888 for a place.

Thurs 12th June free Claremont Project invites members to explore British Museum objects at its building in White Lion Street Angel. 10.30 am. Book and join the project!

Stuart Low Trust members ( just join for free) are invited to book for an outing by tube meeting at The Angel on Tues 25th June 11am to go to Golders Hill Park and Zoo. Lunch provided even. All free except for your fares. (Freedom Passes to the ready)

16th July Stuart Low Trust is off with members to QEOP. Just join and book. Mention Up Your Street if you would.

July 1st Capital Age Festival starts with a fiver tea dance at The Albany in Deptford SE8. The dance is for all the family. Kiddies and carers free. Phone to book. Cake and tea on table too!.

Friday July 4th is community viewing of Folk Art at 6.30 pm in Tate Britain. Go as Up Your Street guest: no need to book.

Back to areas local to Up Your Street Mon 7th July the Tour de France teams pass down from Whipps Cross E11 and along Lea Bridge Rd. Hand- made bunting made with recycled textiles by RAGWORKS can be bought cheaply . Email me.:-)
