                                        free 7pm at Friends House Euston. Film by Clapham Film Unit “These Dangerous Women” all about the 1915 Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom. Up your Street is involved in it and an accompanying book too. Tickets at Eventbrite.

Thurs 26th Mar       free 10.30-11.30 Coffee, cake and  book club at Hackney Central Library with Lydia. Book “Ridley Road” by Jo Bloom. Books in reserve so no buying necessary. Hosted by lovely Lydia.

                                        free 2-4pm Last of “Telling Tales Lounge” at The Mill E17

                                       free 9.30-5pm Conway Hall, Red Lion Square by Holborn . A day of showcasing, discussion, lunch and entertainment all about how we seniors interact with London as a changing city. Book at Eventbrite. This is listed because it stems from invitations to an Hackney Buildings Exploratory group. All welcome.

This takes place every fortnight on a Thursday evening,
The club is a friendly, supportive and creative evening.
Bring along your own projects (whether it be knitting, crochet, sewing, patchwork etc)
It’s an ideal follow on to our classes for continuity or extra guidance.

£5 includes tea & biscuits, use of facilities. JUST TURN UP! *
* If you’d like to use a sewing machine please BOOK IN
as machine places are limited. Basic sewing skills required.

                                      free 6.30-9.30 St Paul’s Cathedral Bach’s “St Matthew Passion” Tickets (which must be printed off ) at Eventbrite. Save a tree! It is possible to Smartphone your ticket but not for St Paul’s. Most events’ staff  don’t even bother to look at the printed tickets. Waste of paper and ink. I usually just photograph my ticket on my mobile phone.
