Saturday 25 July—Tai Chi (Garden Room)

Today’s Tai Chi session will gently rejuvenate your body and mind. Tai Chi is a gentle “moving meditation” which will calm and energise you. You will learn exercises and techniques that you can use at home. Why not give it a go? Please wear loose and comfortable clothing. Will Waghorn runs Tai Chi courses in Brighton and London. Suitable for beginners.

Saturday 15 August—Chi Kung (Johnston Room)

Chi Kung (or Qigong) is a practice aligning body, breath and mind for health and meditation. With roots in Chinese medicine, philosophy and martial arts, Chi Kung is traditionally viewed as a practice to cultivate and balance Chi (Qi) or “life energy”. Please wear loose and comfortable clothing. Belinda Ackermann will lead this session.

Saturday 29 August—Let’s Dance (Johnston Room)

Fancy being Fred Astaire or Ginger Rogers? If you have never tried dance before, this is the session for you. During this fun and enjoyable afternoon, Mark will gently guide you through various types of dance. You can be assured of leaving with a spring in your step and a smile on your face. Why not join us? Mark-Anthony Esau had taught dance for many years and has previously run sessions for The Stuart Low Trust.

Saturday 12 September—Get Arty (Garden Room)

Never tried anything arty before? Then come along and join this fun and creative afternoon with Susie Hewlett, who will inspire and gently guide you to finding your inner artist. Why not try it out? Susie has facilitated many arts groups, including at the Day Centre at St Joseph’s Hospice, Hackney.
