Fri 10th May free 1-3pm Lea Bridge Library Community Room E10. Information only:-

Up Your Street through Stroll London  hosts “LB Baby Social”. Not for seniors unless accompanying a babe in arms as the carer!!

Sat 11th May       free noon-4pm Three Mills Green. Activities for everyone to celebrate developments at the venue at Three Mills by Tesco Bromley by Bow. Disabled access yes. Boat trips to The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park then return as no embarking allowed.

Sun 12th May free 2.30pm  Meet Waltham Forest Walks at Gala Bingo corner of Lea Bridge Road and Church Road E10  to go west to Rigg Approach for a local history walk with host David. Flat terrain.

Mon 13th May free noon-2pm Lea Bridge Library Up Your Street invitation to use the community room to meet up. 1-3pm free David Boote of Waltham Forest walks takes us through some local history. Refreshments and lift .LEA bRIDGE LIBRARY

Tues 14th May free  11.30 am. Meet at The Angel North London tube station after booking with the office for the Stuart Low Trust trip to the Wellcome Collection for outsider art from Japan. Lunch provided as standard.

                              free  5.30-7.45pm Clapton Library E5 The Wordlovers Society.A group for anyone interested in poetry and creative writing. Please bring some of your own written work to read out or perform to the group. All levels very welcome. Facilitated by writer KG Lester. For more information email tyaxx@hotmail.com.

Fri 17th May free 11-2pm Living and Dying Well roadshow with complimentary therapy taster sessions, nibbles, exhibitors and a warm welcome. St Joseph’s Hospice Mare Street Hackney. Music too by “Sinfonia”.

                               £2    7-10pm “E17 Designers” Spring Fair and exhibition at the Asian Centre Orford Road, the Village e17. Free drink on entry.

Sun 19th May free Stratford and West Ham Fair.  Stratford Centre E15.

£3   1.30-3.30pm Stratford Old Town Hall.  Newham tea dance with raffles, dancing shoes, tea, juice and jolly good company.

An intimate collection of paintings, sketches and illustrations by

Charles Holman (1919-2008) capturing figures and familiar views from around Haringey. Holman’s work dates from the 1950s. He trained at Hornsey College of Art, and later taught in Crouch End. 12 April – 30 June, Coleraine Gallery
