Up Your Street through Stroll London  hosts “LB Baby Social”. Not for seniors unless accompanying a babe in arms as the carer!!

Sat 11th May       free noon-4pm Three Mills Green. Activities for everyone to celebrate developments at the venue at Three Mills by Tesco Bromley by Bow. Disabled access yes. Boat trips to The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park then return as no embarking allowed.

Sun 12th May free 2.30pm  Meet Waltham Forest Walks at Gala Bingo corner of Lea Bridge Road and Church Road E10  to go west to Rigg Approach for a local history walk with host David. Flat terrain.

Mon 13th May free noon-2pm Lea Bridge Library Up Your Street invitation to use the community room to meet up. 1-3pm free David Boote of Waltham Forest walks takes us through some local history. Refreshments and lift .LEA bRIDGE LIBRARY

Tues 14th May free  11.30 am. Meet at The Angel North London tube station after booking with the office for the Stuart Low Trust trip to the Wellcome Collection for outsider art from Japan. Lunch provided as standard.

                              free  5.30-7.45pm Clapton Library E5 The Wordlovers Society.A group for anyone interested in poetry and creative writing. Thurs 24th Jan   free 11 am. “A Southern Winter’s View” Walking with David Boote for approx 90 minutes in a relaxed way. Meet at Waterworks Centre entrance, Lammas Road off Lea Bridge Road opposite Greyhound Pub. The Water Works is fabulous and has a great café. The walk is baby buggy suitable and recommended by Stroll London. (Repeats Sunday at 2.30pm). Ample car-parkingand buses 56,55 and 48 take you almost to the door.

Fri  25th Jan      free 10.30. A  walk. Meeting leader Janice Fraser at Tottenham Hale station at 10.30am and taking a train to Cheshunt, where the walk will begin.  The plan is to walk to the white river rafting Centre – stop of for a coffee etc. – and then walk back to Cheshunt to get the train back to Tottenham Hale. This is a regular walking group attached to Friends of Tottenham Marshes.
